Hi I purchased multiple copies of the book. I find it inspiring and very heart warming! I have always have had basset hounds, most from breeders but the last one from from a rescue. She is just a gem. I encourage people to get a copy of this book because it tells it's story all by itself. It is a great set of stories and poems that speak for themselves. Someone once said, "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." How true! Also, someone said "Who rescued who?" I often find myself pondering these same thoughts. Please grab a copy and enjoy each story as I have. Hopefully, it encourages adopting/fostering of some wonderful rescue pups?! Thank you!

A truly wonderful book! Stories of adventures, rescues, and antics of bassets. Well written and an easy read. Not only do you get to laugh and cry a percentage of this sell goes back to help the basset rescues. Its a win win for all dog lovers!
